Introduce students to a scientific method that also applies to business, examines connections between business and science

Learning Objectives

  • Students recognize operation of business and science (e.g. value propositions, funding mechanisms)
  • Students identify elements of a value proposition (scientific and business)
  • Students apply these elements to problem of interest

2–3 class periods (120-180 minutes)

Target audience

1st year students, no prior scientific or technical experience needed

Course is designed to be interactive and group-focused, recommend having students work in groups to identify individual interests.
